Internet Download Manager

Internet Download Manager is a tool to manage downloads with a number of interesting options and integrates well with your web browser. This tool allows you to resume interrupted downloads and increase download speeds by up to 5 times.

It creates multiple connections within an archive, accelerating downloads in cases where connection availability is the limiting factor.

Its error recovery and resume capability will restart interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns etc. Internet Download Manager can connect to the Internet at a set time, download the files you need and hang up or even shut down your computer whenever its done. The use of intelligent technology allows you to set up the optimal configuration for your particular connection and maximize download speeds. It supports firewalls, proxy and mirror servers, FTP, HTTP and HTTP protocols, redirects, cookies, download queues, authorization directories, MP3 and MPEG files and a great variety of different platforms. It integrates seamlessly into Internet Explorer, Netscape, MSN Explorer, AOL, Opera and Mozilla.

This version has a long list of corrections, changes, and new developments that significantly improve functioning.
